The CASBO Shasta Cascade Section’s Cascade of Excellence Award recognizes outstanding school support employees.

Who is the employee that comes to mind when we speak of the best support person in your district? This is your opportunity to recognize the people who spend their professional career working hard to improve the educational endeavor for success in student learning. The staff member does not have to be a CASBO member to be nominated for this award.

Applications open in the Fall/Winter. The award recipients will be announced and/or presented at the following Shasta Cascade Winter Workshop.

Shasta Cascade Professional Development Scholarship

This year, the Shasta Cascade Section will be awarding five (5) scholarships to members pursuing professional development or continuing education to advance their careers in school business.

• Eligibility: CASBO Shasta Cascade Organizational Subscription members

• Award: Attendance to 2026 Fall Education Event ($125 value)

• Application Status: Accepting application starting August 2026

The Section Member of the Year Award honors individuals who go above and beyond to support their peers, strengthen their Section, and advance the profession through collaboration, mentorship, and volunteer leadership.
