Budgets: Advanced Development & Management – 11/18/26

Registration Closes:

Transform budget development from a technical process into a strategic planning tool for your district.

The most effective school district budgets help leaders anticipate challenges, evaluate priorities, allocate resources strategically, and support long-term organizational goals. As financial conditions become increasingly complex, budget leaders must move beyond the mechanics of budget preparation and develop the analytical skills needed to support informed decision-making.

This advanced workshop takes a deeper look at the budget development process, focusing on the assumptions, forecasting methods, staffing models, and analytical techniques that drive high-quality financial planning. Participants will explore how to develop stronger budget assumptions, evaluate district data, build multi-year projections, and align financial resources with organizational priorities. Walk away with practical strategies used by experienced budget leaders to strengthen planning, improve transparency, and support long-term fiscal stability.
