CASBO’s AI in School Business Micro-Certificate is designed for school business professionals who have already experimented with tools like ChatGPT, Claude, or Gemini and are ready to do more with them.

This live, hands-on program goes beyond learning better prompts. Over six weekly sessions, you’ll practice using AI for research, document and spreadsheet analysis, ongoing workspaces, custom assistants, and emerging capabilities like skills and agents. Along the way, you’ll apply what you learn directly to the work you already do.

The program culminates in a capstone project where you’ll turn a real task or workflow from your role into a reusable AI skill you can continue using and refining after the program ends.

Whether you’ve been experimenting with AI on your own or completed CASBO’s AI Leadership Essentials, this program provides the practice, structure, and expert guidance to take the next step.

Isabelle Coloma facilitates AI training that helps professionals understand emerging technology and build practical AI tools for their work. With an MA in International Comparative Education from Stanford University and experience in AI governance research, qualitative research, curriculum design, and communication coaching, she brings both technical and educational expertise to developing practical AI literacy.

  • Two live learning labs for additional practice, peer sharing, and questions.
  • Optional daily office hours for personalized support.

AI Platform Requirement

Participants should have their own paid subscription to ChatGPT, Claude, or Gemini for the duration of the program, typically about $20 per month. Free accounts may reach usage limits during live sessions or restrict access to features used in the program and may prevent full participation.

Participants should also be familiar with their organization’s data privacy and technology policies.
