Honoring a Legacy: The Robert “Bob” Reeves Scholarship

At CASBO, we believe that investing in people is one of the most powerful ways to strengthen the school business profession. The Robert “Bob” Reeves Scholarship reflects that belief — honoring a man whose life and career were defined by service, integrity, and a deep commitment to education.

Bob Reeves: A Life of Service to Education and CASBO

Robert English “Bob” Reeves (1923–2006) lived a life marked by dedication and quiet leadership. After serving his country during World War II, Bob went on to build a distinguished career in public service and school business administration. Known for his steady guidance, thoughtful decision-making, and strong ethical compass, Bob believed deeply in supporting others and leaving things better than he found them.

Within CASBO, Bob’s impact was lasting. A long-time and deeply respected member, he served as CASBO Treasurer for 12 years, helping steward the Association with care and fiscal responsibility. Colleagues remember him not just for his technical expertise, but for his generosity with time, mentorship, and encouragement — especially for those new to the profession.

The scholarship that bears his name continues that legacy.
