1. Download the app on Google Play or Apple App stores.
2. Log into your My CASBO account.
3. Click on ‘find guides’ at the bottom right side of the screen and search CASBO Annual Conference .
4. Download the CASBO Con 26 guide, then click ‘open.’ Use the menu (3 horizontal lines in the upper left corner) to navigate the guide’s menu of features.

Before conference, use the app to review sessions, create daily schedules, set reminders for sessions and events, connect with fellow attendees, and view facility and Expo maps.

During conference, here’s how to use the app’s handy features:

• To track your CEUs, set your schedule and keep it up-to-date. After the event, your schedule will be used to automatically report earned CEUs.
• To take notes, use theNotesmenu item and click ‘Add New Note’ or the ‘+’ button. Then, jot down important information, questions, and inspiration and hit save.
• To share feedback, click each session you attend, rate it and add your comments in the discussion section. We want to hear your feedback on our presenters, subject matter and whatever else you want to share.
• To create your digital business card, click your profile picture in the top right corner and then the gear ‘⚙️’ icon . Update your contact information and click the ‘✓’ button to save.
• To interact with other attendees, click the Interact menu item. Here, you can write posts, respond to others and share photos from the event.
• To share your information, tap the QR Code next to your name on the menu and select My Code, or choose Scan to snap another attendee’s code.
  • Once you share information, you can find their information or chat under the Connections tab of your profile.

• Pack essentials including device chargers, snacks and a light sweater.
• Professional attire and comfortable shoes are highly recommended.

• Parking is available at the Convention Center Parking Garage for a flat rate of $25 per day.
• Other parking options around the convention center can be found here.

• Pick up your conference badge early. If you arrive Mon., March 30, you can pick up your badge between 11 am and 6 pm. Everyone else: beat the rush and hop in line early.

• Create an elevator pitch highlighting your expertise and contributions to school business in 30 seconds.
• Prepare conversation topics in advance to jumpstart connections and networking.
• Exchange contact information digitally by using the CASBO2Go app.
• Take & share photos to solidify the experience and connections.
• Join the social conversation by using the hashtag #casbocon and tagging CASBO in your posts on the platforms below:

• The convention center serves up favorites like Annie’s Pretzel, Mrs. Fields Cookies, Starbucks, and grab-and-go coffee carts.
• San Diego Restaurant Guide can help you find restaurants in the area.
• Discover San Diego offers suggestions to help you decide how to fill your free time.

• Fill out the post-event survey. This is your chance to share your experience and help shape future events. Completing session evaluations and/or the primary event survey will enter you into a giveaway for a FREE CASBO Con 27 registration.
• Nurture new connections by sending follow-up emails and connecting on LinkedIn with those you met during the event.
• Get involved. Join CASBO committees, volunteer or propose a session for future events.
• Stay in the loop. Sign up to get updated on CASBO Con 27 in Sacramento.
