Training: 60 hours of continuing education units (CEUs) earned at an accredited university or community college or through an approved professional development provider*
Experience: A minimum of three years of experience in an education-related position OR two years of experience in a management or supervisory position
Education: High school diploma/GED
Training: 60 hours of CEUs earned at an accredited university or community college or through an approved professional development provider
Experience: A minimum of three years of experience in an education-related management or supervisory position OR two years of experience in a management or supervisory position
Education: A minimum of two years of post-high school education
Training: 60 hours of CEUs earned at an accredited university or community college or through an approved professional development provider
Experience: A minimum of five years of experience in an education-related management or supervisory position OR two years of experience in a management or supervisory position
Education: A bachelor’s or graduate degree from an accredited university
Satisfies a core requirement for the SBPP Certification. Training is specific to the candidates’ COE or District. Upload a letter of completion, signed by supervisor, in online application.
Complete any combination of workshops listed below to satisfy remaining skill hours (35 CEUs).
*CEUs earned at the university or community college level are valid indefinitely; CEUs earned through an approved professional development provider are valid for four years.
