Finance Professional Roundtable 5/28/26

Date:

Finance professionals play a critical role in supporting the fiscal health and long-term stability of California’s local educational agencies. The Finance Roundtable provides a welcoming space for school finance professionals from across the state to connect, collaborate, and learn from one another through open, peer-driven conversation.

This monthly forum offers an opportunity to discuss current challenges, share practical strategies, and explore timely topics impacting school finance today. Whether you’re navigating budget development, financial reporting, forecasting, audits, or operational planning, the roundtable creates space for meaningful discussion with colleagues who understand the complexities of education finance.

Designed to foster professional connection and practical learning, these conversations provide valuable insight, fresh perspectives, and real-world experiences that participants can bring back to their districts immediately.

This month’s discussion topic, “Budget Development — Where to Begin?”, will focus on strategies, considerations, and best practices for approaching the budget development process with confidence and clarity.
