Comprehensive Curriculum
This six-month, virtual program* offers an accelerated curriculum, designed for the professional currently serving in a CBO or equivalent leadership position. Our program curriculum includes everything a working CBO needs to know about finance and budget, student transportation, food services, leadership roles, risk management, maintenance & operations, and more. Participants receive instruction in both written and oral communications; and the content is presented in a virtual lecture format, relying upon class discussion and out-of-class assignments/practical applications. Completion of the program can be used to satisfy the requirements for a CASBO CBO Certification.
*This is a hybrid program, with the majority of sessions held live online, combined with some in-person instruction.
Prerequisites:
- Currently serving in a CBO position or equivalent; and
- 1-5+ years of experience in a district/county office of education in said position
Program Cost
Full program tuition is $5,500 for Organizational Subscriber Employee Members, and $7,500 for non-members.*
In order to confirm your participation, the registration fee must be paid in full 30 days from the acceptance notice or by November 22, 2022, whichever occurs first.
*Tuition does not cover your transportation or lodging expenses, nor does it cover the cost of the certification exam after program completion.
