The company came about for one purpose: to make the tools to manage school construction finances. Chief Executive Officer Lettie Boggs and President Larry Goshorn, both working hard at building schools, found that there weren’t any district tools for managing the finances of multi-year construction projects. Lettie’s background in accounting led to processes tracked in a series of linked spreadsheets. Larry attended one of Lettie’s classes and combined these linked sheets into an automated workbook — and Larry writes a pretty good spreadsheet!
That automated spreadsheet became the model for developing Account-Ability, an industry-strength, comprehensive solution for planning and controlling capital-building programs.
