CASBO’s Business Executives Leadership (BEL) Program celebrated a new class of graduates in Sacramento on Thursday, June 22, 2023. The recent grads now qualify to sit for CASBO’s CBO Certification exam.
To commemorate the occasion, BEL Program leaders Janea Marking, Jayne Christakos, and Bill McGuire presented each graduate with a “CASBO CBO Starter Pack.” Packed with items every school business professional on the rise needs to succeed, the gift bags included a Moleskin notepad to journal their goals and wins, a lanyard to identify their VIP roles in school business, an ink pen to line-item budgets and many other necessities.
The 33 grads represent diverse backgrounds and school districts across California. The BEL Program accepts participants based on various factors, including candidates’ professional experience, education, and career accomplishments.
