Present a workshop in 2019!
Open the door to California's largest network of school business professionals.
If you have an idea for an educational topic that you know will engage members and non-members alike, enhance their professional development and add value to our Annual Conference, then we want to hear from you!
How Our Selection Process Works
Step 1: Beginning in approximately May of each year, members of CASBO's 15 professional councils independently solicit presentation proposals.
Step 2: In approximately June of each year, we send out a Request for Proposals to solicit additional presentations from our partners and associate members. Our RFP announcement includes our Workshop Proposal Requirements, Instructions and Workshop Proposal Form 5a which must be completed and submitted. To participate in the selection process at this stage, you must at minimum be a current CASBO associate member.
Step 3: In approximately August of each year, CASBO's professional councils review all proposals submitted pursuant to Steps 1 & 2 above and make their selections.
Step 4: In approximately October of each year, if we determine that more presentations are needed for our conference lineup, we send out an "open call" RFP to solicit additional workshop presentations (and presentations for our popular Biz Table Talks, if scheduled for that year). This RFP announcement includes our Open Call Workshop Proposal Requirements, Instructions and Workshop Proposal Form 5 (and our Biz Table Talk Proposal Requirements, Instructions and Biz Table Talks Proposal Form 5b, if scheduled that year) which must be completed and submitted. To participate in the selection process at this stage, you must be a current CASBO member of any type.
Step 5: In approximately January of each year, CASBO's Annual Conference Committee reviews all open-call proposals submitted pursuant to Step 4 above and makes its selections.
